As an artist, I believe that AI art generators should absolutely compensate original artists. These AI systems often rely on datasets comprising countless works by human creators, yet offer them no recognition or payment. It's crucial that artists receive fair compensation for their contributions to the cultural landscape, especially when their work is used to train commercial algorithms.
