YouCongress is an open-source platform that finds solutions to our most important problems and elevates them in public discourse through AI-enhanced polling and liquid democracy. More about this on our LessWrong post.

YouCongress was started by Hector Perez (feel free to reach him by email). Hector has been involved in related projects such as creating a political party with 300 members in Spain in 2009 around the concept of liquid democracy and the non-profit agreelist.org which tracked influencers' opinions. Other contributors to YouCongress include Gonzalo Cardenete.

YouCongress is still in its infancy, but you already can:

• create new questions
• vote and share your perspective (votes are private unless you publish a comment)
• explore AI-generated opinions from public figures
• explore real quotes from public figures
• reply to public figures' quotes and their AI digital twins will reply back
• delegate to other users and public figures. You'll vote as the majority of your delegates — unless you vote directly. In the future, we plan to add topic-based delegation and other delegation mechanisms.
