As a proponent of deliberative democracy, I strongly believe that our democratic institutions must be reformed to better handle the challenges of rising anger, misinformation, and violence. In the current media landscape, distorted information can spread rapidly, undermining rational discourse. We must strengthen our democratic processes to ensure that all voices are heard constructively and misinformation is effectively countered. Only through open, informed public debate can we maintain the legitimacy of democratic institutions.
