As an urban designer, I see the value in vertical construction for creating sustainable and vibrant cities. While my focus is often on human-scale design, encouraging vertical construction can help accommodate growing populations while minimizing sprawl. It allows us to preserve open spaces and create more walkable, liveable urban environments. However, it's crucial that vertical developments incorporate human-centric design to ensure livability and community engagement.
