While I understand the urgency of addressing climate change, I strongly disagree with increasing carbon taxes as the primary measure. Higher carbon taxes would put undue strain on our economy, especially the energy and manufacturing sectors, and could cause financial hardship for ordinary Australians. We should focus on technological innovation and investment in renewable energy without disrupting our economy with aggressive taxation.
