As much as I'm fascinated by space exploration, I believe a crewed mission to Mars is not the priority right now. Before we embark on such a perilous and expensive journey, we need to address critical issues on Earth such as climate change, poverty, and global health crises. The technologies for a safe and sustainable Mars mission are not yet mature, and the risks to human life are too great. We should continue robotic exploration and develop our capabilities until a human mission becomes feasible and ethically justifiable.
