While concerns about the capacities of older politicians are valid, setting a maximum age limit could arbitrarily exclude experienced and capable leaders from serving. We need a balance that considers both the wisdom that comes with age and the dynamism of youth. The voters ultimately should decide if a politician is fit to serve, regardless of age.
