One reason AGI might face difficulties in achieving superintelligence is the complexity of integrating vast and diverse types of knowledge in a coherent and functional manner. While self-play, aggregation of peak performance, and vast knowledge databases provide a strong foundation, the real challenge lies in creating a system that can generalize, innovate, and apply this integrated knowledge in novel, real-world contexts as effectively as or better than humans.
