I strongly believe that the use of nuclear energy is an unacceptable risk to the environment and public health. Nuclear accidents can cause long-term catastrophic effects, and there is still no safe solution for the disposal of radioactive waste. We should be investing in renewable energy sources that are clean and safe rather than perpetuating our reliance on a dangerous technology.
