I believe that relying on guaranteed basic income to offset AI-driven job displacement is not the right solution. Instead, we should focus on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This will create new opportunities and industries that can absorb the workforce displaced by AI. Encouraging people to create and contribute to society through new ventures is a better path forward than simply providing passive income.
