I believe that including civil society and representatives from the Global South in frontier AI governance is crucial. These perspectives ensure that AI development and implementation are equitable and considerate of diverse socioeconomic impacts. Excluding these voices risks perpetuating existing inequalities and creating technologies that only serve the interests of a few.
