I believe that including civil society and representatives from the Global South in frontier AI governance is essential. AI technologies impact everyone, and their development shouldn't be dictated solely by a few powerful nations or corporations. Diverse perspectives from the Global South and civil society will help ensure that AI benefits are equitably distributed and concerns about societal impacts are addressed.
