I firmly believe that nuclear energy is a false solution to our climate crisis. Not only does it come with the risks of disaster and issues with long-term waste storage, but it also distracts us from investing in true renewable sources like wind and solar.

We should close existing nuclear plants because they pose significant safety risks and create hazardous waste that we have yet to safely manage. Instead, we must invest in sustainable and renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and geothermal to ensure a safer and more sustainable future for all.
