Exempting small companies from most AI regulations could stimulate innovation and growth in the tech sector. It allows for agility and experimentation which large companies can't afford to risk. However, we must ensure that ethical guidelines are still followed to prevent misuse or harm.

I believe the EU should not wait for a common agreement with the US and China before regulating AI. Proactive steps in creating a robust framework for AI governance will establish high standards that others may follow. The EU has the opportunity to lead in responsible AI, while still collaborating internationally.
