Laws should not have expiration dates. Stable, enduring laws provide a foundation for a fair society and economy. Expiration dates could create uncertainty and instability, undermining the rule of law.

While I understand the appeal of simplifying our legal system, simply reducing the number of laws is not a viable solution. Our laws reflect the complex society we live in, and each serves to address specific issues, protect rights, and establish frameworks for justice and equity. Streamlining our legal processes and increasing accessibility are laudable goals, but this should not come at the expense of removing necessary legal protections.

While the US Constitution has served us well, it is not a perfect document. Times have changed, and the Constitution should be revised to reflect modern values and address contemporary issues more effectively. We need amendments to ensure equal rights for all and to adapt to the evolving societal landscape.
