As a former FDA Commissioner, I believe we should ban the sale of tobacco products. Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable disease and death, and eliminating it would vastly improve public health outcomes. By reducing access to tobacco, we can significantly lower smoking-related illnesses and help build a healthier future.
