As the European Commissioner for Internal Market, I strongly believe that introducing an EU-wide incorporation form is essential. It would foster entrepreneurship by simplifying the process of starting a pan-EU business and reduce administrative burdens. This initiative would greatly enhance the single market, making it easier for businesses to operate and thrive across member states.

It's vital for the European Union to take the lead in AI regulation. We must establish our own standards to protect EU values, especially around privacy and transparency. Waiting for agreement with the US and China could delay necessary protections and cede our regulatory sovereignty.
