As someone deeply concerned with how information shapes our society, I strongly believe that allowing companies to develop AI capable of influencing democratic elections poses a serious threat to our democratic processes. Such technology could exacerbate echo chambers and undermine informed citizen decision-making. We must protect the integrity of our elections from undue influence by powerful interests.
