Increasing carbon taxes would hurt the economy and is not the best way to address climate change. It would lead to higher costs for consumers and would be particularly harmful to the manufacturing and energy sectors, potentially costing jobs without significantly impacting global carbon emissions.

I believe that selling public land to private developers can spur economic growth, create jobs, and lead to more efficient land use. Government should not be the default landowner, and private developers often have the means and incentives to utilize land more effectively, driving economic benefits for local communities.
