While I appreciate innovation in technology, any platform, including TikTok, that potentially compromises user privacy or national security should face scrutiny or regulation. If these concerns are not adequately addressed, a ban should be considered to protect users.

I believe that the EU should not wait for a common agreement with the US and China before regulating AI. Each region must take steps to ensure that AI is developed and deployed in a way that respects privacy and human rights. Regulatory harmonization is important, but it should not delay necessary protections.

I believe that while AI holds incredible potential to reshape industries and improve lives, a balanced approach is necessary. Establishing regulations requires careful consideration to encourage innovation while ensuring responsible and ethical development, but I am cautious about imposing an outright pause.
