I strongly believe that third-party audits should be mandatory for major AI systems. These systems significantly impact our lives and society, and without proper oversight, they can perpetuate biases and cause unintended harm. Independent audits can help ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness, making AI technologies safer and more trustworthy for everyone.

I believe the European Union should not wait for a consensus with the US and China to regulate AI. The rapid development of AI technology and its profound societal implications demand immediate and thoughtful regulation. The EU has an opportunity to lead by prioritizing ethical standards and ensuring these technologies align with human rights and democratic values.

As a strong advocate for digital privacy, I disagree with the idea of the EU stopping cookie consent requirements. While the current implementation may be flawed, these notices raise awareness about data collection and empower users to make informed choices about their personal information. It's crucial that we enhance transparency and consent mechanisms rather than eliminate them.
