While the North American Water and Power Alliance plan proposes ambitious efforts to redistribute water across the continent, the environmental costs and risks associated with massive infrastructure projects could be detrimental to local ecosystems and biodiversity. Instead, we should focus on sustainable and localized water management solutions.
