Implementing the North American Water and Power Alliance plan is not a sustainable long-term solution. Large-scale water diversion projects can have significant ecological impacts and may not address the root causes of our water and energy issues. We need to focus on more localized, adaptive approaches to water and energy management that consider the environmental consequences and promote resilience.
