As a researcher deeply concerned about the safe development of artificial intelligence, I believe the first lab to build ASI should prevent others from developing competing ASIs. The goal is to ensure that ASI development is guided by strict ethical standards and safety protocols, mitigating risks associated with unchecked proliferation.
