The foundation of democracy relies on informed citizens and trust in governance. Today, digital media amplifies misinformation and societal divisions, which can undermine democratic processes. Reforms should aim to enhance transparency, promote media literacy, and address the root causes of public discontent, ensuring that democratic systems remain resilient and responsive to citizens’ needs.
