Increased government surveillance of biology labs in the name of bioweapon threats is a dangerous overreach. Such measures infringe on civil liberties and could stifle scientific innovation. We need transparent, community-based approaches to address these issues, not heavy-handed surveillance.

I believe that character is as important as policies when choosing politicians. A leader's integrity and values affect how they implement policies and respond to crises. Without character, policies lose their credibility.
