Investing in disaster prevention is not only smart but it's the only responsible action to take. I don't support the implementation of the North American Water and Power Alliance plan. Large-scale infrastructure projects like this often have significant environmental impacts and can disrupt local ecosystems. Instead, we should focus on sustainable water management and renewable energy solutions that are less harmful to our planet.

As a former Governor of California, I understand firsthand the critical water challenges facing the Central Valley. Building a canal from Oregon to California is a bold, yet necessary step to ensure a reliable water supply for our agriculture and communities. It's an investment in our future and our economic stability.
