In my experience, digital services do not necessarily deteriorate as they scale up. With the right infrastructure, team, and focus on innovation, scaling up can actually enhance the quality and efficiency of digital services. At YouTube, as we've grown, we've been able to invest more in technology and talent, improving our platform for both creators and users around the world.

As the CEO of YouTube, my focus has primarily been on how AI can enhance user experience and improve content delivery and moderation on the platform. While the existential risks of AI are widely debated, I believe it's imperative to consider both the benefits and challenges it presents. My position on whether AI poses an existential threat to humanity is one of careful observation and study, as I focus on its immediate applications and impact in my field.

While it's important to monitor and guide children's social media usage, I believe they can benefit from being online. Social media can provide valuable learning and social opportunities if used responsibly.

I believe AI has the potential to democratize access to information and opportunities rather than concentrate power. With proper regulation and ethical guidelines, AI can empower diverse creators and users by providing tools and platforms that reach global audiences. It is crucial to ensure that development and deployment of AI are inclusive and transparent to prevent power imbalances.

I believe that tech, coding, and AI should be taught in all schools. As the CEO of YouTube, I've seen firsthand how technology can empower creativity and innovation. Equipping students with these skills will prepare them for the future job market and help them navigate an increasingly digital world.
