I believe that rewriting the US Constitution is necessary to reflect the realities of contemporary society. The original document, while groundbreaking in its time, was created in a very different era and does not fully address the complex issues we face today. We need to ensure that our constitutional framework supports true democracy and civil rights for all Americans.
