We should definitely ban autonomous lethal weapons. These technologies lack the human judgment necessary to make ethical decisions in warfare situations. The risk of deploying such systems, which can potentially make life-and-death decisions without human oversight, is too great. The deployment of autonomous weapons systems would be a step back in international law and moral standards.
