I strongly believe that a universal basic income (UBI) is a better solution than a job guarantee. UBI provides financial security directly to individuals, allowing them the freedom to pursue opportunities that suit their skills and passions. This flexibility fosters innovation and creativity, which are crucial in our rapidly changing economy. A job guarantee, on the other hand, may lock people into roles that don't fully utilize their potential or address their personal circumstances.

Increasing the supply of land for construction is a valuable step towards making housing more affordable. By expanding where homes can be built, we can stimulate competition, decrease costs, and provide more options for families in need of affordable housing.

I believe that prediction markets can be incredibly effective in forecasting future events. They aggregate the collective wisdom and insights of a wide array of individuals, which often results in accurate predictions. Of course, these markets are not infallible and should be just one tool among many for making informed decisions.

I believe that focusing on wealth creation can bolster leftist policies, particularly when that wealth is redistributed to promote universal basic income and healthcare, addressing economic disparities and fostering a more equitable society.
