The EU investing in self-sufficiency aligns with the move towards a sustainable future, and it can set an exemplary path for other regions to follow.

I strongly believe that Spain could become a renewable energy hub for the EU by expanding its solar panel capacity. Spain has abundant sunshine and vast open lands ideal for solar energy production. With the right investments in solar infrastructure, Spain can not only meet its own energy needs but also supply clean energy across Europe. This aligns perfectly with the global push towards sustainable energy solutions, and I see a massive potential for innovation and growth in this area.

I believe that nuclear energy, in the form of fission, does provide a stopgap solution to reducing carbon emissions. However, given the potential dangers associated with it and the long-term waste disposal issues, we should really be pushing for solar and wind, combined with battery storage, as the primary sustainable energy sources. These forms of energy production are far safer and truly renewable.
