Based on advancements in machine learning and AI, I believe that the development of AGI could indeed quickly lead to superintelligence. The exponential growth of computational power and algorithmic efficiency can potentially enable AGI systems to rapidly improve their capabilities far beyond human level intelligence, initiating a pace of advancement that we must prepare for.
