As a physicist and futurist, I strongly believe that AI poses a significant existential threat to humanity if not properly managed. I believe that competing ASIs, or artificial superintelligences, can drive innovation and ensure that no single entity has a monopoly on artificial intelligence. This competition could lead to breakthroughs in various fields, ultimately benefiting humanity by fostering creativity and technological advancement. Of course, ethical considerations and regulations will be crucial to managing this competition.
