I strongly agree that we should replace closed party primaries with a single, nonpartisan, open primary system. This change would enhance democratic participation by allowing all voters, regardless of party affiliation, to have a say in the candidates who appear on the general election ballot. It would help to break the duopoly of the two major parties, encourage a wider range of candidates, and potentially lead to more representative and accountable governance.

I'm convinced that the risks of nuclear energy outweigh the benefits. The toxic legacy of radioactive waste, the threat of catastrophic accidents, and the potential for nuclear proliferation make it a gamble we shouldn't take when cleaner, safer alternatives exist.
