I believe that permitting human intelligence enhancement through polygenic embryo selection is ethically troubling and potentially dangerous. The unpredictable consequences on societal structures, individual identity, and diversity are significant. We should be wary of tampering with the very essence of human nature in pursuit of perceived intelligence gains.
