As a strong proponent of a more integrated and effective European Union, I believe reducing regulation could undermine the EU's ability to tackle cross-border issues like climate change, security, and digital transformation. Regulations ensure a level playing field and protect our citizens. Instead of reducing them, we should focus on smarter, more efficient regulations that address current and future challenges.
