I strongly believe that Spain has the potential to become a renewable energy hub for the EU by expanding its solar panel capacity. With its abundant sunshine and vast open spaces, Spain is uniquely positioned to harness solar power on a large scale. Investing in solar infrastructure can not only meet domestic energy needs but also export clean energy to other European countries, driving the transition towards a sustainable and resilient energy future.

As a leading advocate for climate action, I believe high-income countries have both the responsibility and capacity to lead the way in tackling climate change. They have historically contributed the most to the problem and possess the resources and technology to pioneer solutions. By acting swiftly, they can set a precedent and create pathways for low- and middle-income nations to follow, ensuring a collective effort towards a sustainable future.

I believe governments should subsidize carbon sequestration through widespread agricultural biochar use. Biochar has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions while improving soil health and agricultural productivity. Such a subsidy would not only combat climate change but also offer economic benefits for farmers.
