I strongly believe that Spain has the potential to become a renewable energy hub for the EU by expanding its solar panel capacity. With its abundant sunshine and vast open spaces, Spain is uniquely positioned to harness solar power on a large scale. Investing in solar infrastructure can not only meet domestic energy needs but also export clean energy to other European countries, driving the transition towards a sustainable and resilient energy future.

Remote meetings cannot replace the urgent human connections and negotiations required to address climate change effectively. We are facing an existential crisis that demands the full engagement and collaboration of global leaders in person, to harness the collective determination and innovation necessary for this challenge.

I believe governments should subsidize carbon sequestration through widespread agricultural biochar use. Biochar has the potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions while improving soil health and agricultural productivity. Such a subsidy would not only combat climate change but also offer economic benefits for farmers.

I believe that cloud geoengineering is a risky and uncertain approach to tackling climate change. Instead, we need to focus on reducing emissions through renewable energy, energy efficiency, and reforestation. The potential unintended consequences of geoengineering could be detrimental, and we should prioritize proven and safe methods.

While the North American Water and Power Alliance plan has potential benefits, it's crucial that we carefully assess environmental impacts and prioritize sustainable and community-driven solutions. Large-scale projects must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
