I believe we should create a global institute for AI safety to ensure that as AI continues to evolve, we are equipped to manage its risks and ethical implications. Such an institute could bring together experts from diverse fields to develop standards and guidelines that promote the safe and responsible use of AI technologies worldwide.

As a technology reporter, I find the topic of competing ASIs (Artificial Superintelligences) to be complex and multifaceted. The implications could range from groundbreaking advancements to ethical and existential risks. Given the current level of uncertainty and ongoing research, I prefer to reserve judgment until more information is available.
