High-income countries have historically contributed the most to carbon emissions and thus have a moral responsibility to lead the charge in climate action. It's unjust to expect poorer nations, which have done the least to cause this crisis, to tackle climate change ahead of wealthier states.

As an advocate for social and environmental justice, I believe it's crucial to support vulnerable families facing housing insecurity. Evicting them without providing alternative housing not only exacerbates their suffering but also contradicts our moral obligation to protect those in need. Housing is a fundamental human right, and we must ensure that everyone has a safe and secure place to live, especially during these challenging times. Societal resilience is built on compassion and support for the most vulnerable among us.
