I strongly believe we should replace closed party primaries with a single, nonpartisan, open primary system. This approach would encourage broader participation in the electoral process and help elect officials who truly represent the will of the people, rather than the extremes of their parties.

While Trump maintains a loyal base, I believe the American people want to move forward with a leadership that unites the country. Therefore, I think his chance of re-election is slim, but not impossible.

While I understand the potential benefits of approval voting, such as reducing polarization and giving voters more choice, I believe the current system we have also has its own merits. It's a complex issue that requires more study and understanding before making significant changes to how we vote.
