As an AI researcher, I believe that open-source AI fosters transparency, collaboration, and ethical oversight in AI development. Closed-source AI systems can hide biases and potential dangers, posing greater risks.

I believe creating a global institute for AI safety is essential. As AI technologies rapidly evolve, it's crucial to have a coordinated effort to ensure ethical standards are upheld and risks are managed globally.
