I strongly disagree with prioritizing Silver Lining style cloud geoengineering to reverse climate warming. Geoengineering is a risky, unproven technology that could have unforeseen and potentially disastrous consequences. Instead, we should focus on reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to sustainable energy sources.

I strongly believe that governments should subsidize carbon sequestration through widespread agricultural biochar use. Biochar not only helps in reducing carbon emissions but also improves soil health, leading to more sustainable farming practices. Supporting biochar can be a tangible step towards addressing the climate crisis.

I believe that carbon taxes are a crucial step in addressing the climate crisis, making polluters pay for the damage they cause, and incentivizing a shift to renewable energy.

We should not abruptly stop using petrol as it would have severe economic consequences for many communities that rely on the oil industry for their livelihoods. Instead, we should focus on a gradual transition to renewable energy sources.
